Wasp nests are often found in walls, roofs, sheds and other out buildings. Apart from being unpleasant, a wasp sting can cause a severe reaction in some people, known as an anaphylactic shock. So it’s really important not to threaten or disturb a wasp nest yourself, but instead to call in the professional help of PCSY.
Although close family, bees are very different to wasps. There are different types that are common to the UK, all of which could require slightly different treatment methods.
Bumblebees are the most common type of
bee, followed by Tree Bees, Honey Bees and
Mason/Solitary Bees.
Generally, bees are not too much of an issue as a
pest, but can be an annoyance, as they tunnel into
holes in brickwork to build nests or, of course, they
can form into a swarm.
